Yes, you can. We welcome interest from all customers, from established hospitality businesses to new catering companies and members of the general public. If you want to take advantage of our discounted prices, you are more than welcome. We have a wide range of equipment for sale, including food preparation equipment, kitchen storage items, cooking equipment, and beverage equipment.

Yes. We can arrange delivery on your behalf and are more than happy to do so. Third-party couriers may be used, and our team regularly works with courier companies. If you decide to go down this route, we recommend that you have your own transport insurance. Newhand Equipment will not take responsibility for damages that occurred in transport by third-party couriers.

Yes. We regularly purchase used commercial kitchen equipment and sell it on to other businesses. If you have something you think we might be interested in, just send an email to sales@newhandequipment.com.au Include as many details as you can about the gear, along with photos and your asking price. Once we have everything we need, we will get back to you with our offer.

Yes, we do. If you want to see our commercial kitchen equipment in person, simply come down to our warehouse and check out our range. While we can’t keep everything in stock, we have a large range of items ready to inspect. Our address is 3/3 Treforest Drive, Clayton 3168 Victoria.

In accordance with Australian consumer guidelines, Newhand Equipment will replace or exchange damaged or faulty goods if we are notified of the damage or fault within 24 hours of delivery. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will issue you a credit or refund.

Any claims for damage and/or defects MUST be reported within 24 hours, without exception. Please contact us immediately and be sure to include your receipt and proof of purchase, along with your order number and an explanation of why the return is needed. We will require photos of all damages to the product and/or packaging. The products must be in their original packaging.

Please retain broken parcel/s (and packaging) until authorised by us, as they may be required by our courier and/or Australia Post as proof of damage. Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time frame. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which may vary due to reasons beyond our reasonable control.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment, and/or freight fees. This situation is likely if the goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under Australian Consumer Law or the manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished or used parts may be used to repair the goods. Please note that we will not repair or accept returns for any goods that are sold ‘as is’, or in situations where you were made aware of the defect at the time of sale. Newhand Equipment will not be responsible for any loss of data for any returned goods.

Yes, they are. We are open to offers for some products and will accept reasonable offers. While the details of negotiation differ considerably between items, it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask. We have a wide range of items in stock at all times, including commercial ovens and cooking equipment, storage items, and food preparation equipment.

From time to time, we may provide third-party services. At any point, we will not be liable for any third-party transactions. Third-party services can be offered to suppliers pursuant to the third party’s terms and conditions. Third-party services may be promoted on our website as a convenience to our users, some of whom may find particular third-party services to be of interest or use. If a supplier utilises a third-party service provider, the agreement will be directly between the supplier and the third-party service provider.
